Key Responsibilities: Uniform Distribution & Collection: Issue and receive uniforms to/from staff based on departmental needs. Maintain records of uniform issuance, return, and damage/loss. Inventory Management: Maintain up-to-date inventory of uniforms and accessories. Conduct regular stock counts and update the uniform management system. Identify shortages and coordinate reorders with procurement. Laundry Coordination: Coordinate with internal/external laundry services for timely washing and pressing. Ensure uniforms are returned in good condition and on schedule. Maintenance & Quality Control: Inspect uniforms for wear and tear; flag damaged items for repair or disposal. Ensure uniforms are cleaned, stored, and labeled appropriately. Vendor Liaison: Coordinate with uniform suppliers for orders, fittings, and deliveries. Assist in the selection of uniform materials and styles. Staff Coordination: Conduct uniform fittings for new staff. Assist staff with uniform-related queries and adjustments. Qualifications & Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; diploma in hospitality or logistics preferred. Minimum 12 years of experience in a similar role (uniform room, housekeeping, or inventory control). Knowledge of laundry operations and fabric care. Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software. Strong organizational and communication skills. Attention to detail and a customer-service mindset. Ability to lift and carry uniform items as needed. Working Conditions: Primarily based in the uniform room or back-of-house operations. May involve occasional lifting or standing for extended periods. Flexible working hours may be required depending on operational needs
