Title Business Development Manager
As a Business Development Manager at UNI Application Portal Ltd (UAP), your primary responsibility will be to lead the recruitment efforts of international students from South India. You will be tasked with developing strategic partnerships, devising innovative recruitment strategies, and driving business growth to ensure UAP remains competitive in the global student recruitment market. Your key responsibilities will include: - Strategic Planning and Vision: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan to expand UAP's presence in South India, enhance international student enrollment, and establish partnerships with leading educational institutions. Conduct in-depth market research to stay informed about educational trends, competitor activities, and emerging markets in South India. Continuously innovate and adapt strategies to respond to market changes and maintain UAP's competitive advantage. - Partnership Development: Identify, evaluate, and establish strategic partnerships with Indian universities, educational consortia, and recruitment agencies to support international student recruitment efforts. Manage partnership agreements to ensure alignment with UAP's strategic objectives, monitor their implementation, and drive enrolment growth through B2B partnerships. - Sales and Marketing: Develop and implement tailored sales and marketing strategies to promote UAP's services to potential partners and students in South India. Utilize digital marketing techniques, direct communication, and participation in industry events to drive recruitment campaigns effectively. - Student Recruitment: Lead targeted international student recruitment campaigns across South India, leveraging digital marketing and participation in educational fairs and seminars. Utilize CRM strategies to manage prospective student inquiries and optimize conversion rates from initial contact to application and enrolment. - Collaboration: Work closely with admissions and academic departments to streamline application and enrolment processes, ensuring a smooth transition for international students. - Reporting, Analytics, and Operational Excellence: Establish a robust reporting framework to monitor the effectiveness of recruitment and partnership strategies through data analytics. Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders, offering insights and strategic recommendations based on detailed analysis. Manage the student admission process, produce reports for management meetings, administer agent accounts, and conduct training sessions for applicants. Qualifications and Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, education, or related field; master's degree preferred. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in international student recruitment within the higher education sector. - Strong understanding of global higher education systems, admissions processes, and student visa regulations. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software. - Fluency in English and one or more South Indian languages (e.g., Kannada, Tamil, Telugu). - Willingness to travel domestically as required.
