We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to drive the sales of our Geared Motor Division . The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and delivering consistent growth in the assigned territory. This is a core field sales role that demands strong product knowledge, negotiation skills, and territory management. Key Responsibilities: 🔍 Sales & Business Development: Identify and acquire new OEMs, integrators, panel builders, and end-users in the assigned territory. Promote geared motors, worm gearboxes, helical gearboxes, inline drives, and related products. Develop a sales pipeline, achieve monthly and quarterly targets. 👥 Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and channel partners. Ensure pre-sales consultation, product selection, and post-sales support coordination. 🛠️ Technical Selling: Understand customer applications and suggest suitable motor and gear configurations. Liaise with internal application engineering or vendor teams for product customizations. 📈 Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market movements. Provide feedback to the management on industry trends and customer expectations. 📊 Reporting: Maintain CRM/database of prospects, quotes, follow-ups, and closures. Submit daily/weekly/monthly sales reports to the Sales Head.
