We are currently seeking applications for the position of Domain Trainee, Underwriting Support Delegated Authority. As a Domain Trainee, you will leverage your experience and understanding of insurance/reinsurance and underwriting processes to facilitate transactions for the Underwriting Support Teams and engage with the Onsite Team effectively. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: - Demonstrating Lloyds of London Market Experience - Proficiency in various forms of slips, Binding Authority/ Delegated Authority Business for Coverholder - Sound knowledge of MS Office, MRC, MRCE, and Bordereaux - Standardization of Bordereaux and Financial Reconciliation for monthly BDX spreadsheets - Familiarity with P&C, Specialty, Reinsurance, Claims, and Underwriting services - Adhering to the agreed Turnaround Time (TAT) and Service Level Agreement (SLA) for the business - Upholding customer services and Quality standards by complying with client procedures and process requirements Qualifications we are looking for: Minimum Qualifications / Skills: - Graduation in any discipline - Relevant work experience in London Market Insurance - Comprehensive understanding of the Underwriting lifecycle - Demonstration of customer focus, teamwork, accountability, initiative, and innovation - Proficiency in both written and oral English language Preferred Qualifications/ Skills: - Awareness of the Insurance domain - Proficiency in MS Office - Certification in CII London (ALMI, FIT, or Cert CII), AINS, CPCU certification, or equivalent - Knowledge of Bureau/Non-Bureau market This position is based in India-Gurugram and is a Full-time role. Inviting applications for the role of Domain Trainee - Underwriting Support Delegated Authority Your role will require you to utilize your experience in and knowledge of insurance/reinsurance and underwriting processes to process transactions for the Underwriting Support Teams and communicate with the Onsite Team. Responsibilities . Setting up Binding Authority contract with Contractual rules and aggregate limits on DUA tool . Completing a Bordereau Questionnaire by mapping the bordereaux with relevant reporting standard using the DUA schema questionnaire . Review of errors/ breaches and perform data enrichments within the DUA system . Reconciliation of the Premium and Claim amounts with the signing present on Syndicate and Commercial applications . Logging of data quality issues into the query log. . Working with the onshore team regarding a quality control review of issues as part of an onshore escalation process to underwriters . Bordereaux standardization and Financial Reconciliation for monthly BDX spreadsheets . Exposure to London Market (Syndicate & Company) is a must . Provide technical support and bordereau processing assistance to other members of the team . Monitoring submissions of the monthly Bordereaux and chasing up any that are late . Leading weekly/monthly/quarterly discussions on operations with client UW and company stakeholders. . Knowledge of P&C, Specialty, Reinsurance, Claims and Underwriting services . Working as per the TAT and SLA agreed for the business . Maintaining customer&rsquos services and Quality standards by adhering to client procedures and process requirements Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications / Skills . Graduate (in any discipline) . Relevant work experience for London Market Insurance . Should have wing to wing knowledge of the Underwriting lifecycle . Must demonstrate and foster customer focus, teamwork, accountability, initiative and innovation. . Fluent in English language- both written and oral . Excellent knowledge of binders process . Understanding of risks faced by the function and the controls in place to manage and mitigate the risks . Ensuring clarity around priorities and goals for the entire functional area . Ability to function effectively in a team environment exercising good judgment . Working with senior management and other peers for strategy development and execution planning . Root Cause Analysis on escalations received . Very good problem solving skills & attention to detail. . Ability to accurately interpret and compile information from a variety of sources and systems Preferred Qualifications/ Skills . Insurance domain awareness . Good knowledge of MS Office . Preferred with certification on one of the streams i.e. CII London i.e. ALMI, FIT or Cert CII or equivalent or AINS, CPCU certification . Knowledge of Bureau/Non Bureau market . Thought leaders with deep domain expertise in areas of Underwriting Services, Risk Assessment & Policy Servicing . Gathering data requirements to understand needs and document functional and non-functional requirements . Reporting and analytics ability to create and present reports, analyze data, and monitor performance metrics . Analyzing current business processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement and proposing innovative, tech-driven solutions . Maintaining regular key performance indicators (KPIs), and progress tracking . Collaborating with development teams to validate the delivered solutions against business requirements, ensuring high-quality output (using Power BI) . Maintaining dashboards that provide real-time insights into status, performance metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) . Experience in system integration, ensuring seamless data exchange and functionality between multiple systems or platforms .
