Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP and hotel industry standards. Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations. Ensure compliance with US federal, state, and local tax laws, including sales, occupancy, and income taxes. Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for audits and annual tax filings. Monitor hotel budgets, forecast revenues, and control costs to meet financial goals. Maintain internal controls and implement process improvements for financial operations.
