We are looking for a seasoned Senior Industrial Electrical Engineer with 8 to 10 years of experience in the design, specification, and implementation of industrial electrical systems including control panels, MCCs, and power distribution boards (PDBs) in compliance with UL508A, UL698A, and UL845 standards. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of industrial electrical concepts, experience in cable scheduling, field cabling, and a solid background in process automationpreferably in the water and wastewater sector. This role includes leading a team of 45 electrical and design engineers, ensuring high-quality deliverables and compliance with industry standards. You will be responsible for the full electrical engineering lifecycle of automation projectsfrom design through commissioningwhile mentoring your team and driving technical excellence. Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of 45 electrical engineers and designers throughout the project lifecycle Design and develop control panels, MCCs, and PDBs per UL508A, UL698A, and UL845 standards Prepare and review single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, panel GA drawings, and loop diagrams Develop and manage cable schedules, terminal plans, and field cabling layouts Review conduit, cable tray, and routing designs for industrial sites Ensure strong grounding, earthing, and short-circuit protection schemes Apply deep industrial electrical knowledge to optimize safety, reliability, and cost-efficiency Coordinate closely with instrumentation and automation teams for seamless integration Lead electrical reviews, hazard analysis, and ensure regulatory code compliance (NEC, IEC, NFPA) Required Skills & Experience: 810 years of relevant industrial electrical engineering experience Proven leadership in managing teams and mentoring junior engineers Expertise in UL508A, UL698A, and UL845 panel and MCC design standards Strong command of industrial electrical concepts: grounding, protection, power flow, fault analysis Experience with field cabling, cable sizing, and power distribution Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN for design documentation Hands-on experience in process automation, especially water/wastewater treatment systems Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Knowledge of NEC, IEC, NFPA codes, and UL panel certification procedures Experience with VFDs, soft starters, relays, and power monitoring devices Familiarity with motor protection, harmonics mitigation, and safety interlocks Exposure to cross-functional engineering and EPC project environments Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities Analytical and detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety Team player with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities Willingness to travel for field inspections, FAT/SAT, and commissioning activities Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience, with benefits including [Insurance, Travel Allowance, Performance Bonus, etc.]
