As an Associate III- Electrical Supplier Quality at UST, you will play a key role in driving supplier quality improvement initiatives. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will lead supplier problem resolutions by identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring effective communication. Your responsibilities will also include supporting new product development through the review of process specifications, engineering drawings, and first article inspections. You will be instrumental in developing systemic supplier process improvement plans to reduce quality defects and conducting audits at supplier sites to verify compliance with quality requirements. Additionally, you will share best-known methods and key learnings with the supplier base, participate in new product development programs, and provide supplier perspective during drawing reviews and product design phases. To excel in this role, you should possess a strong understanding of design for manufacturability, quality management systems, and various problem-solving methodologies such as 8D and six sigma. Your knowledge of manufacturing processes, GD&T, PFMEA, metrology, and measuring equipment will be crucial in addressing complex technical challenges with a broad impact on the business. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communication or Microelectronics with 3-6 years of relevant experience. You should demonstrate proficiency in value stream mapping, manufacturing process development, and qualification, as well as a commitment to continuous learning and flexibility in problem-solving approaches.
