UI/UX Teacher

We are seeking an experienced and passionate UI/UX professional to join our team as a Part-Time Teacher/Industry Mentor. This unique role requires a commitment of just one hour per week, where you will leverage your expertise to inspire and guide our aspiring UI/UX designers. This could involve delivering focused guest lectures, conducting live project critiques, leading interactive Q&A sessions, or providing specialized workshops on emerging trends and best practices. Deliver engaging and informative sessions (approx. 10 hours/week) on specific UI/UX topics, tailored to our curriculum or current industry needs. Share practical, real-world insights, case studies, and industry best practices with students. Provide constructive feedback and mentorship on student projects (as time permits within the allocated hour). Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in UI/UX design. Contribute occasionally to curriculum enhancement discussions based on industry relevance. Qualifications: - Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in UI/UX Design, Product Design, or a related field. - A strong portfolio showcasing successful UI/UX projects across various platforms. - Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Adobe Creative Suite). - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely. - Passion for teaching, mentoring, and fostering the growth of emerging talent. - Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, accessibility, and design thinking methodologies.
