Storable is seeking a UI/UX Product Designer to become a valuable addition to the team. As a UI/UX Product Designer at Storable, you will be responsible for creating effective, user-friendly interfaces that enhance both user experience and business outcomes. Your primary focus will be on developing B2B2C online shopping experiences that guide consumers through the process of making online purchases, such as shopping for storage units, navigating business websites, comparing inventory, and digitally securing leasing agreements. Your daily responsibilities will include collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to create intuitive and high-converting digital shopping experiences. You will design seamless interfaces that assist customers in navigating complex purchasing journeys with clarity and ease. Additionally, you will develop various design artifacts such as wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs to explore, validate, and refine ideas. By championing user-centric design principles, gathering feedback, running usability tests, and iterating based on real-world interactions, you will ensure the delivery of top-notch user experiences. Moreover, you will work in collaboration with Engineers throughout the development process by providing detailed design documentation, refining user flows, and ensuring the implementation of high-quality designs. Maintaining consistency across platforms, sharing insights with Design peers, and staying ahead of evolving UI/UX trends will also be crucial aspects of your role. You will be expected to enhance and evolve design patterns, component libraries, and best practices to optimize and enhance user experiences. To excel in this role, you should possess at least 5 years of experience in designing for consumers, a portfolio showcasing your user-centered design skills, proficiency in Figma, and experience working in a collaborative environment where Product, Design, and Engineering teams work closely together. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, a passion for user advocacy, openness to giving and receiving constructive criticism, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development are also essential qualities. Candidates with familiarity in Miro and user testing tools, as well as previous experience in using, building, or managing design systems of UI/UX patterns to facilitate consistent digital interface design at scale, will be considered favorably.
