UI/UX Designer - Sketch / Creative Suite

Job Description

- Understand existing applications and note the existing user experience problems and should be avoided for new developments. - Create proposals for design and research plans with guidance from the leads. - Participate in usability tests and apply learnings to enhance the application designs. - Present designs to peers, stakeholders, and leadership, and articulate rationales behind design decisions. - Facilitate design collaboration sessions and reviews. - Proactively seek feedback and input from those involved in the projects. - Embrace and adopt organization product design system - UX standards, best practices, styles, patterns, and guidelines. - Contribute emerging design techniques and their appropriate usage to the organization. - Visualize and communicate design solutions via workflow diagrams, storyboards, click-through wireframes, high-fidelity screens, and design documentation. - To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes: - A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline. - 5+ years of experience as a UX/UI professional. - Expert in design, presentation, and prototyping tools (e.g., Adobe Suite, Sketch, InVision & Balsmic) - Good understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JS, jQuery, Bootstrap, Angular, React and Flutter. - Should be a good multi-tasker who can work within tight deadlines. - Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and can articulate your ideas to different SMEs. - Deliver work that is of a high standard and reusable. - An understanding of user research methodologies. - An understanding of responsive and adaptive design approaches. - Mentor junior members and guide them to use updated design technologies. - Knowledge of designing map-based applications - Desirable - Exposure to project management tools (like Atlassian Confluence, JIRA or Azure DevOps).
