UIUX Designer (Figma Designer)

As a UIUX Designer (Figma Designer) at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus, you will be responsible for designing user-centric interfaces, workflows, and experiences for multiple platforms. With a strong background in designing systems, wireframing, prototyping, and meeting deadlines, you will collaborate closely with developers, instructional designers, and other stakeholders to deliver cohesive design solutions that meet user needs and project objectives. Your key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining design systems and style guides, creating wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize and test concepts, working with developers to ensure design feasibility and implementation accuracy, collaborating with instructional designers to integrate educational content into user-friendly designs, identifying and resolving UX issues throughout the project lifecycle, managing multiple projects, and meeting deadlines while maintaining design quality. To excel in this role, you should have experience with user research, creating personas, and user flows, expertise in UI/UX design tools like Figma and Adobe Suite, proficiency in wireframing, prototyping, and design systems, a strong understanding of design principles, usability, and user-centered design, excellent communication and collaboration skills, the ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under tight deadlines, attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset. The ideal candidate for this position should possess a degree in a related field such as Graphic Design, Web Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or User Experience (UX) Design. Additionally, having 2 to 5 years of experience working in UI projects ranging from web apps, mobile apps, dashboards, e-commerce platforms, and more will be important. A strong portfolio showcasing Figma expertise, user-centered approach, and case studies will be a valuable asset.
