As a Front-End Developer at NIQ Activate R&D, you will be an integral part of our growing core technology team, collaborating with some of the brightest minds in the industry. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing large-scale robust software in a cloud environment, focusing on the client side of the application to deliver a highly sophisticated User Interface. You will also play a key role in defining and implementing the long-term UI product strategy. To excel in this role, you must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Javascript, HTML, and CSS, along with proficiency in React and TypeScript for developing web applications. A degree in computer science or its equivalent is required. Additionally, experience in developing UI infrastructure, strong communication and problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a solid grasp of business and product concepts are essential. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who can set and achieve goals effectively, with a proactive approach to defining, planning, and implementing tasks and projects. Advantageous qualifications include experience with Storybook, Styled Components, Kubernetes, Docker, SQL/Databases, and frontend testing (unit and components). As a team lead, you will need to balance your time between team management tasks such as reviews, planning, and coordination (20%) and software engineering responsibilities (80%).
