UI Architect

As a JavaScript Developer at our company, your primary responsibilities will include: - Optimizing and improving a modular JS codebase - Working with a cross-functional team of engineers - Maintaining, improving, and optimizing video Player JS plugins - Using JavaScript to create working prototypes for new concepts, ideas, or platforms we want to explore - Optimizing and adding new features to our existing charmboard video player plugins Qualifications required for this role include: - Strong knowledge of core/vanilla JavaScript, not just with JavaScript frameworks - Expert proficiency in core JavaScript and Object-Oriented JavaScript - Experience in shipping products using JavaScript - Working knowledge of UI principles and user experience - Commanding grasp of HTML, CSS, and related web technologies - Awareness of cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations - Experience with web best practices such as A/B testing, test coverage - Ability to write JavaScript unit test cases and perform JS performance testing Bonus Skills that would be advantageous for this role include: - Experience in Video Player Plugin development in platforms like YouTube, JWPlayer, etc. - Knowledge in Progressive Web App development - Ability to create Web Components (e.g., Shadow DOM) - Experience with unit testing frameworks like UnitJS, JsUnit, etc. - Proficiency in debugging and performance testing with the help of third-party tools Your skills should primarily revolve around JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Game Testing (QA).,
