Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using UFT (Unified Functional Testing) . Manage test cases, requirements, test execution, and defect tracking using HP ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) . Create and maintain reusable test components and libraries. Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing. Analyze test results and log detailed defects in HP ALM with steps to reproduce. Work with development teams to reproduce and resolve defects. Participate in test planning, test data creation, and review meetings. Maintain test documentation and support test reporting and metrics. Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3+ years of hands-on experience in test automation using UFT/QTP . Strong working knowledge of HP ALM for test management and defect tracking. Proficiency in VBScript (used in UFT scripting). Experience with testing web and desktop applications. Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC. Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall environments. Desirable Skills: Experience with other automation tools (e.g., Selenium, LoadRunner). Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and integration with automation frameworks. Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation. ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
