Role Overview: Our consultants form a pivotal part of F5 Networks’ Professional Services delivery organization, working across diverse environments—from public and private clouds to enterprise data centers. They help customers implement F5’s security, automation, and cloud solutions with responsiveness and technical expertise. Sounds interesting? Read on! What you will do: Deliver labor associated with custom scoped Statements of Work to F5 customers. Provide technical responsibilities that may include, but are not limited to, problem identification, systems architecture definition, hardware/software specification, design, implementation, testing, client training and solution deployment. Effectively lead and deliver technical workshops Manage customer interaction and engagement, including documentation and follow-up. Maintain expert level proficiency of F5 products and technologies through self-directed and formal training. Demonstrate ability to become trusted advisor within customer environment. Demonstrate control of engagement and develop customer confidence in F5’s ability to resolve critical issues in a timely and effective manner What you will bring: BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with a focus on architecture and design of Application Delivery and Security solutions. Experience working with Linux, Unix and Windows, Cloud environments Experience with network protocols and theory (TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, MAC addresses, IP packets, DNS, and load balancing, etc.) Good understanding of HTTP protocol and related technologies Experience with network, security solutions, and technologies leading security solutions Experience with public clouds: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure Experience with virtualized and containerized environments: Kubernetes and Docker Experience with Configuration Management and Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins Experience with Scripting or development skills: Python, Ruby, Shell etc. Working knowledge in F5 products and technologies is a plus Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently as well as prevalent local language. Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills. Ability to articulate and transfer complex ideas to a wide audience through both verbal and written communication. Demonstrated strong written communication, presentation writing, and technical documentation skills. Should be hands-on and be able to perform the role independently. Demonstrable experience to work as part of a team of engineers and to deliver one or several projects simultaneously.
