Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a UAV Pilot. The UAV Pilot will be responsible for operating unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) to perform aerial data collection for surveying, mapping, and security applications. Responsibilities include conducting flight operations, ensuring drone maintenance, adhering to safety and regulatory guidelines, collaborating with team members to plan missions, and analyzing aerial data using advanced tools. The role requires a strong focus on precision, operational efficiency, and adherence to operational protocols.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to operate unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and conduct drone-based surveys
• Knowledge of drone operations, regulations, and safety protocols
• Experience in aerial data analysis, mapping software, and geospatial tools
• Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills
• Relevant certifications, such as a remote pilot license (FAA Part 107, or equivalent certification)
• Familiarity with security and surveillance techniques using UAVs is a plus
• Proficiency in planning autonomous drone missions with pre-defined mapping objectives
• Bachelor's degree in Geospatial Sciences, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
