Your responsibilities will include performing electrical wiring, crimping, soldering, and harness assembly for fixed-wing UAVs, as well as installing, testing, and troubleshooting components such as ESCs, power modules, batteries, servos, and telemetry units. You will collaborate with avionics, software, and mechanical teams to ensure seamless system integration, and conduct both preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical subsystems. Additionally, you will support field activities such as pre-flight checks, launch, recovery, and electrical diagnostics, while maintaining high standards of safety, documentation, and workmanship. To qualify for this role, you must have an ITI in Electrical or Electronics along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in UAV or aircraft electrical systems. Proficiency in using electrical hand tools, a strong understanding of battery systems, servo wiring, power distribution, and ESCs, as well as familiarity with communication protocols like UART, I2C, and SPI are essential. Furthermore, you should be adept at reading and working from wiring schematics and technical documents, and possess solid troubleshooting and fault diagnosis skills, especially during field operations. Desirable skills and interests for this position include experience in UAV integration and flight trials, familiarity with RC transmitters, telemetry units, and GCS tools like QGroundControl or Mission Planner, as well as a passion for aviation, UAVs, and emerging drone technologies.
