As a Full-time Functional Test Lead in Global Audit & Assurance (Global A&A) working within the User Experience Workstream of the Catalyst Programme, your primary responsibility will be to enhance the effectiveness of the Functional Testing team. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining proficient functional/business testing practices and processes across the Digital Audit Suite, ensuring that the end-results align with the design and requirements expectations of the business. Your key responsibilities will include overseeing the functional/business testing process and strategy for the Catalyst programme, developing and maintaining functional testing processes such as test plans, test scripts, and bug reports, and collaborating closely with Quality Assurance Architects/Leads to ensure a consistent testing approach within Catalyst. Additionally, you will work closely with Functional Leads and Business Analysts to test ideal functional and business flows for features and user stories. To excel in this role, you must have at least 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Functional/Business Testing, with a strong understanding of test automation frameworks and methodologies. Proficiency in tools like Selenium, Playwright, TestNG, Maven, GIT, and Jira is essential. Experience in managing QA, Functional Testing, or UAT teams is also required, along with the ability to write functional test plans and execute test cases efficiently. Furthermore, you will be responsible for researching industry developments to update functional testing policies and procedures for continuous improvement. You must ensure timely delivery of programme deliverables while maintaining high development and quality standards. Root cause analysis for reported issues and establishing preventive action plans will be part of your routine tasks, along with reporting functional testing status to key programme members. In addition to technical skills, strong team management, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with Agile frameworks are crucial for this role. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills are desired attributes to effectively manage the functional testing process and contribute to the overall success of the solution delivery goals within the Catalyst Programme. Other duties as required include coaching and mentoring Functional Testers, participating in retrospective meetings, and fostering a productive collaboration environment. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading the overall functional/business testing process and strategy for the Catalyst programme - Supervising the development and maintenance of functional testing processes, including test plans, test scripts, and bug reports - Collaborating closely with Quality Assurance Architects/Leads from the Data and Technology Workstream to ensure a consistent testing approach within Catalyst - Working closely with Functional Leads and Business Analysts from the User Experience Workstream to verify the ideal functional and business flows for features and user stories - Researching industry developments to update functional testing policies and procedures for continuous improvement - Delivering programme deliverables on time by meeting key milestones and adhering to development and quality standards - Conducting root cause analysis for reported issues and establishing action plans to prevent future occurrences - Providing functional testing status reports to key programme members - Coaching and mentoring Functional Testers to ensure high-quality solution delivery - Coordinating and participating in retrospective meetings, fostering a productive collaborative environment - Handling any other duties as required Candidates for this role must have: - 7 or more years of experience in Quality Assurance or Functional/Business Testing - Experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks - Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and methodologies - Hands-on experience in tools like Jenkins, CICD pipeline, Troubleshooting, debugging, and Java for Selenium framework development - Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript - 2 or more years of experience in managing QA, Functional Testing, or UAT teams - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and approaches - Experience in writing functional test plans and executing test cases - Ability to handle multiple strategic projects/initiatives - Strong team management, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills - Experience with Agile frameworks is preferred Software knowledge required includes: - Selenium, Playwright, TestNG, Maven, GIT, Jira - Proficiency in Microsoft Technologies like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook - Familiarity with Azure DevOps, JIRA, or other software development and testing tools is preferred In addition, you should possess excellent communication and presentation skills, excel in fast-paced technical environments, have problem-solving abilities, and strong analytical skills to effectively manage the functional testing process.,
