Introduction

Plowman Craven is expanding our technical delivery team in Ahmedabad, and were looking for a UAS Data Processing Technician whos passionate about turning aerial data into meaningful insight. Youll work with cutting-edge technologies from LiDAR and photogrammetry to advanced processing software supporting global engineering, infrastructure, and environmental projects.

What youll be doing

• Process and manage UAS data (Photogrammetry + LiDAR), GNSS, and related datasets.
• Use advanced software such as Agisoft Metashape, Reality Capture, and DJI Terra to create high-accuracy outputs.
• Deliver high-quality geospatial products point clouds, orthophotos, DEMs, DSMs, and 3D models to international standards.
• Work closely with surveyors and field teams to validate, troubleshoot, and improve data quality.
• Maintain structured data storage, apply version control, and meet strict QA/QC benchmarks.
• Suggest improvements to workflows and contribute to automation and innovation within the team.
• Stay ahead of new developments in UAS, LiDAR, and geospatial software to keep Plowman Craven at the forefront of digital surveying.

What youll bring

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Geoinformatics, or related field.
• 2+ years experience in UAS photogrammetry and LiDAR data processing.
• Strong skills with Agisoft Metashape, Reality Capture, DJI Terra (Leica Cyclone a plus).
• Understanding of coordinate systems, georeferencing, and survey data formats (LAS, E57, RCP, etc.).
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English communication skills written and verbal.
• A team player with flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to learn new technologies.
