We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join Juteq, a cloud and AI-native solutions company. You will play a foundational role in designing and building customer data infrastructure that powers real-time AI-driven conversations for automotive dealerships. This is a full-time remote position based in India, with working hours aligned to EST. You will be responsible for engineering systems that ingest, unify, and manage customer interaction data across the entire lead lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain pipelines for ingesting structured customer and campaign data from multiple sources. Collaborate with AI, product, and engineering teams to ensure data flows meet operational and performance needs. Requirements: 5+ years of experience as a backend, platform, or data engineer. Hands-on experience integrating with LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Vertex AI, Claude) in production use cases. Exposure to FastAPI/Flask and Model Context Protocol (MCP) for building Python-based agent servers. Experience in python and strong understanding of backend frameworks such as NestJS, Express.js, and TypeScript. Strong grasp of data ingestion patterns, data modeling, and system integration. Proven ability to build real-time or event-driven pipelines handling high-volume transactional data. Experience designing multi-tenant systems with secure and isolated data access. Ability to document technical processes clearly and work collaboratively across teams. Nice to Have: Familiarity with prompt injection prevention, token windowing, and prompt templating logic. Experience handling lead routing logic, campaign configurations, or dealership-specific CRM logic. Familiarity with Firebase Admin SDK, customer identity flows, and profile management.
