You will be responsible for operating lathe machines (manual or semi-automatic) to perform turning operations on metal components. This includes reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and job specifications, as well as measuring and marking raw materials before turning. Your role will also involve selecting appropriate cutting tools, setting machine parameters, and inspecting finished components using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges. It will be essential to maintain machine cleanliness, report any mechanical issues to the supervisor, and ensure the quality and dimensional accuracy of parts according to customer specifications while adhering to safety standards and company protocols. To qualify for this position, you should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in lathe/turning operations within a machine shop or factory setting. Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, using measuring instruments, and knowledge of cutting speeds, feeds, and metal cutting techniques are required. Additionally, you should be physically fit and able to stand for long hours. Candidates with an ITI or Diploma in Mechanical/Turner Trade will be given preference. This is a full-time job requiring your presence at the work location in person.,
