We are seeking a hands-on DevOps Engineer with a strong command of make and deployment automation. This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes Makefiles, understands the power of declarative builds, and can create maintainable, reproducible pipelines from scratch.If you’re passionate about automation and enjoy working on systems like MCP servers, this is your chance to own and optimize the infrastructure from the ground up.Key Responsibilities Write, manage, and optimize Makefiles for build and deployment automation across multiple services. Deploy and manage MCP servers and other custom backend infrastructure. Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for dev-to-prod workflows. Improve developer productivity by simplifying build, test, and release cycles through make. Collaborate with developers to integrate infrastructure into their local and cloud environments. Set up observability tools and monitor infrastructure health and performance. What We’re Looking For Deep expertise in make – not just using it, but structuring complex Makefiles that are clean, efficient, and extensible. Experience deploying and managing production-grade services (e.g., MCP servers). Proficiency in CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.). Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container/orchestration systems. Strong scripting knowledge (e.g., Bash, Python). Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Bonus Points For Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, Ansible). GitOps and release automation tooling. System tuning and performance profiling skills.
