Job description Location: Mumbai (Chandivali - Powai) Industry: FMCG / Personal Care / Hair Color Job Purpose: Responsible for driving sales, distribution, and visibility of hair color products within the assigned territory. The role involves managing a team of sales officers/distributors, building strong trade relationships, and achieving business objectives for volume, value, and market share. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets. Manage distributor and retail network within the assigned geography. Ensure availability, visibility, and placement of hair color products in general trade, modern trade, and salons. Drive new product launches, trade promotions, and consumer activations. Monitor secondary sales, stock levels, and ensure timely replenishment. Recruit, train, and manage a team of Sales Officers / Sales Representatives. Maintain strong relationships with key retailers, salon partners, and distributors. Conduct market visits to track competitor activities and provide inputs for business planning. Ensure adherence to company policies, reporting systems, and compliance standards. Desired Candidate Profile: Graduate / MBA preferred, with 5-10 years of sales experience in FMCG / Personal Care / Hair Color. Proven track record in managing distributors, retailers, and field sales teams. Strong knowledge of the Mumbai market and trade dynamics. Excellent communication, negotiation, and team management skills. Should be proactive, target-oriented, and comfortable with extensive field travel.
