TTS Business Controller

As a TTS Business Controller at Citi, you will be an integral part of the Citi Finance organization, with a primary focus on controlling Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, and Expenses of the Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) business. Your role will involve ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial systems, collaborating across functions to provide meaningful insights into financial results, and supporting the execution of business strategies. Your responsibilities will include performing controls to ensure the accuracy and completeness of TTS financial statements for Asia clusters, providing analytical insights to business partners, and participating in system transformation, control, and reporting improvement projects. You will be tasked with conducting daily and monthly controls to identify anomalies in financial ledgers, investigating and resolving discrepancies, and escalating material events to prevent misreporting in Citi's financial books. Collaboration will be a key aspect of your role as you work closely with various functions such as Business, Finance, Operations & Technology, and Risk to coordinate remediation of recurring issues and control improvements through process and system enhancement projects. You will also be responsible for assessing risks associated with business decisions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and safeguarding Citigroup's reputation, clients, and assets. To excel in this role, we expect you to have 2-5 years of relevant experience, excellent verbal and written English skills, a solid understanding of financial and accounting concepts, and a controller mindset with a drive for process improvement. Strong data analysis skills, advanced knowledge of MS Excel, and experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau will be advantageous. A self-motivated and detail-oriented approach will be essential for success in this position.
