Production Support Engineer with Java
You are a Java Developer with 5+ years of experience responsible for production support and ticket resolution in a microservices-based environment. Your expertise lies in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices, with a strong background in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in a production environment. Your key responsibilities include providing L2/L3 production support, ensuring minimal downtime, and quick issue resolution. You will analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues and application failures in real-time. Managing and resolving tickets related to system performance, bugs, and enhancements will also be part of your role. Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as DevOps, QA, and Business Analysts to provide timely resolutions is essential. Monitoring logs, alerts, and incident reports to ensure system stability and developing scripts and automation tools to improve system monitoring and issue resolution are also key responsibilities. Identifying root causes of issues, suggesting long-term fixes for system optimization, and documenting troubleshooting procedures and solutions for knowledge sharing are part of your duties. To excel in this role, you must have 5+ years of experience in Java development and production support. Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs is required. Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, log analysis, and debugging using tools like Kibana, Splunk, or ELK stack is essential. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.
