Job Description


Responsibilities:

  • Lead Dynamic Simulations: Own and execute dynamic simulations through design review process.
  • Requirements Management: Capture, consolidate, and manage all dynamic-related requirements for the bogie subsystem.
  • Model Development & Analysis:
  • Build and validate simulation models using VI-Rail.
  • Conduct multiple simulation runs and post-process results.
  • Evaluate performance against defined requirements through data reduction, results filtering, calculations etc
  • Design Review & Approval: Present simulation results in design reviews and drive consensus for approval.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of models, simulation results, and analysis for future reference and reuse.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with VI-Rail software.
  • VI-rail software proficiency is must.
  • Experience in 3D modelling; experience with UG NX is preferred.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Familiarity with industry standards for Dynamics such as AAR, EN, IR, GOST is a plus.
