Truck Driver

Role Purpose:

To provide safe, reliable, and timely transportation services for students, staff, and faculty, ensuring discipline, comfort, and adherence to all traffic and safety rules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the bus safely on assigned routes and schedules.
• Pick up and drop off students, faculty, and staff at designated stops.
• Follow traffic laws, institutional transport rules, and safety regulations.
• Conduct daily checks of the bus (fuel, brakes, lights, and general condition).
• Maintain cleanliness of the bus and report any issues to the Transport In-Charge.
• Assist passengers, especially children, in safe boarding and alighting.
• Maintain discipline and ensure passenger safety throughout the journey.
• Be available for extra trips during events or emergencies.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Minimum 10th standard (SSLC) pass.
• Valid Heavy Vehicle/Passenger Transport Driving License issued by RTO.
• 1–2 years of experience as a bus driver (school/college experience preferred).
• Basic knowledge of Bangalore routes and traffic rules.
• Responsible, punctual, and patient in handling students.
• Physically fit and safety-conscious.
