The Sr. Product Development Engineer position based in Chennai, India, is a part of the Product Development Water Utility Controls Team. This role involves analyzing product features, designing test parameters, creating customized quality checks, and writing final test procedures for Testing the PCB assembly. As a Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of product development by leveraging your knowledge of engineering, product design, and attention to detail. Key Accountabilities include building, validating, and verifying new and existing products, receiving tasks from product development engineers, document results, and provide solutions. The role also involves troubleshooting electronics, conducting testing and troubleshooting functions, hands-on experience with PCB assembly, creating and documenting test plans, test cases, and test reports, and developing standards to determine product quality and release readiness. As a qualified candidate, you are expected to possess a Diploma or Bachelors/Masters degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electronics Engineering, or equivalent work experience. You should have 2-5 years of testing experience, be proficient in English (verbal and written), and have familiarity with testing tools such as Apache, Selenium, JMeter, TestStand, and LabVIEW. Additionally, you should have knowledge of Quality Assurance Tools, software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, as well as engineering and testing procedures.,
