Trouble Shooting Electrical Engineer - Industrial Heater

As an Electrical Installation & Commissioning Engineer, your role will involve executing electrical installation of industrial heaters, control panels, temperature controllers, and power supply units on site. This will require reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings to ensure compliance with industrial electrical codes, standards, and client specifications. Key Responsibilities: - Carry out pre-commissioning checks and full commissioning of industrial heater systems. - Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and control system issues during installation and commissioning phases. - Perform system testing including continuity tests, insulation resistance tests, and functional testing of heaters and control systems. - Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and instrumentation teams for smooth site operations. - Collaborate with client site engineers, contractors, and internal project managers, reporting daily progress and site challenges. Qualifications & Skills: Education: - Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Experience: - 2-5 years of site experience in industrial electrical installation. - Prior experience with industrial heaters, thermal systems, or high-power electrical equipment is preferred. Technical Skills: - Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, wiring practices, and protection devices. - Understanding of temperature control systems, PLC basics, and instrumentation (preferred). - Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics. - Familiarity with national and international electrical standards (e.g., IS, IEC). Soft Skills: - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work under pressure in challenging site conditions. - Willingness to travel to project sites for extended durations.
