You will be responsible for operating company or client vehicles in a safe and responsible manner. This includes following all traffic laws, company policies, and safety standards. It is crucial to maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine checks such as fuel, oil, and tire pressure. Efficiently planning routes to avoid delays and ensuring timely arrivals is essential. Additionally, you will be required to keep accurate trip records, mileage logs, and expense reports, as well as report any accidents, injuries, or vehicle damage immediately to management. Regular vehicle maintenance and servicing schedules must be followed, and you are expected to represent the company professionally and courteously at all times. Candidates above the age of 45 with a valid driver's license (appropriate class for the type of vehicle) are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of GPS and navigation systems, excellent time management, and communication skills are necessary. The ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations is important, and a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. The job may require early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and/or holiday shifts. Long hours of driving may be necessary depending on routes or assignments.
