As a Plant Layout & Piping Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to create 3D models, detailing, GA drawings, and plot plan layouts using CAD software like MicroStation and AutoCAD. You will be involved in coordinating, executing, and communicating all design, modeling, and drafting activities related to equipment such as Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer, Thermal Oxidizer, Fuel Gas Control Skid, Biogas Plant, and Water Treatment Package. Your key responsibilities will include preparing plot plants and layouts in MicroStation, 2D & 3D modeling for Thermal Oxidizers & DFTO, piping routing as per project PID & specifications, Isogen drawings, structural elements like columns, platforms, and handrails, IBR & NON-IBR Isometrics, and isometric checking with respect to P&ID. You will also review 3D models in Navisworks for clash checking, accessibility, and maintenance to ensure compliance with relevant statutory requirements and standards. To qualify for this role, you should have a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, along with at least 6 years of experience in Plant layout, Piping & Structural engineering. Proficiency in MicroStation, TRICAD, Navisworks, and AutoCAD is essential, as well as knowledge of pipe, pipe flanges, structural shapes, and material specifications. Strong communication skills, the ability to interpret technical information, work independently, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously are also required. Your software skills should include Microsoft Office at a basic level, MicroStation V8i and Tricad at an advanced level, AutoCAD at a medium level, and Solidworks at a mid-level.
