The Role As a Sr. Security Engineer, you will be working as an individual contributor to work with a dynamic team of Threat hunters working 24x7. Your role will include: Responsible for working in a 24×7 Security Operation Centre (SOC) environment. Handle technical escalations from the L1 SOC team and resolve them within SLA. Create and manage the SOPs, runbooks and Asset inventory with risk classification Provide threat and vulnerability analysis as well as security advisory services Send and receive notifications to the SMEs about the vulnerabilities discovered along with remediation and also follow up on the closure within SLA. Contribute significantly to the development and delivery of a variety of written and visual documents for diverse audiences. Mentor, Guide and share information with other analysts and other teams Always be curious and keep growing your skills and capabilities and emerging trends. What You’ll Bring 7 years of experience in working in a 24x7 Security Operation Center (SOC) environment. Proficient in Incident Management and Response, handling escalations, SIEM Alerts, EDR alerts, DLP, WAF alerts; Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure, and Cloud Security (GCP, AWS, Azure) Knowledge of MITRE ATT&Ck, Cyber Kill Chain, Threat Hunting & Attack Forensics. Knowledge of Email security, DMARC, SPF, DKIM, (Mimecast Email Security) Knowledge of various operating system flavors including but not limited to Windows, MacOS, Linux. Certifications: Security certifications such as GSEC, CEH, CySA, are advantageous. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills include performing root cause analysis for preventative investigation. Role Description We are looking for an experienced Identity and Access Management SME to join our security team to help reduce security risks by improving IAM infrastructure and controls. The person we are looking for would work closely with the engineering teams and will require a mix of technical knowledge and collaborative skills. As part of the Information Security team, you will be supporting Allica’s fast growth momentum with the design, implementation and maintenance of the tools which help to support out internal employees, as well as Allica’s customers. You will work with stakeholders across the business to support Information Security objectives, as well as those related to the wider bank. Principal Accountabilities Operate and maintain the identity platform – Ensure continuous, secure operation of PingFederate, PingAccess, PingDirectory and PingOne MFA across two Azure regions, achieving a minimum 99.95 percent service availability. Architect and deliver integrations – Define, document and govern reusable patterns for OIDC/OAuth 2.0, SAML 2.0, SCIM, FIDO2/WebAuthn and mTLS to support customer-facing applications, APIs and third-party SaaS. Automate infrastructure and configuration – Implement infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and Git-based CI/CD pipelines; enforce zero-touch certificate and secret management via Azure Key Vault. Job description: Job Description Role Purpose The purpose of the role is to support process delivery by ensuring daily performance of the Production Specialists, resolve technical escalations and develop technical capability within the Production Specialists. ͏ Do Oversee and support process by reviewing daily transactions on performance parameters Review performance dashboard and the scores for the team Support the team in improving performance parameters by providing technical support and process guidance Record, track, and document all queries received, problem-solving steps taken and total successful and unsuccessful resolutions Ensure standard processes and procedures are followed to resolve all client queries Resolve client queries as per the SLA’s defined in the contract Develop understanding of process/ product for the team members to facilitate better client interaction and troubleshooting Document and analyze call logs to spot most occurring trends to prevent future problems Identify red flags and escalate serious client issues to Team leader in cases of untimely resolution Ensure all product information and disclosures are given to clients before and after the call/email requests Avoids legal challenges by monitoring compliance with service agreements ͏ Handle technical escalations through effective diagnosis and troubleshooting of client queries Manage and resolve technical roadblocks/ escalations as per SLA and quality requirements If unable to resolve the issues, timely escalate the issues to TA & SES Provide product support and resolution to clients by performing a question diagnosis while guiding users through step-by-step solutions Troubleshoot all client queries in a user-friendly, courteous and professional manner Offer alternative solutions to clients (where appropriate) with the objective of retaining customers’ and clients’ business Organize ideas and effectively communicate oral messages appropriate to listeners and situations Follow up and make scheduled call backs to customers to record feedback and ensure compliance to contract SLA’s ͏ Build people capability to ensure operational excellence and maintain superior customer service levels of the existing account/client Mentor and guide Production Specialists on improving technical knowledge Collate trainings to be conducted as triage to bridge the skill gaps identified through interviews with the Production Specialist Develop and conduct trainings (Triages) within products for production specialist as per target Inform client about the triages being conducted Undertake product trainings to stay current with product features, changes and updates Enroll in product specific and any other trainings per client requirements/recommendations Identify and document most common problems and recommend appropriate resolutions to the team Update job knowledge by participating in self learning opportunities and maintaining personal networks ͏ Deliver NoPerformance ParameterMeasure1ProcessNo. of cases resolved per day, compliance to process and quality standards, meeting process level SLAs, Pulse score, Customer feedback, NSAT/ ESAT2Team ManagementProductivity, efficiency, absenteeism3Capability developmentTriages completed, Technical Test performance Mandatory Skills: API Development - GraphQL . Organizational Overview The mission of the Synchrony Cybersecurity Joint Security Operations Center (JSOC) is to rapidly detect, assess and respond to cyber threats against Synchrony, its employees, its customers and partners. The Cybersecurity JSOC team is within the Cyber Operations organization and works closely with the Insider Risk Management team and the Threat Intelligence, Operations & Automations team. Role Summary/Purpose The JSOC India Leader drives operational excellence and 24/7/365 monitoring. This role fosters a culture of innovation and collaboration while maintaining steady state operations. The JSOC India Leader will contribute to cyber threat detection and incident response. The individual will grow our strategy and identify adversaries through current tactics, techniques and procedures. The Synchrony Cybersecurity JSOC has transformed to a next generation center of excellence requiring an individual passionate about cyber threats and leading a team of cyber detection and incident responders. Key Responsibilities Utilize key performance indicators to track analyst workloads as well as the efficiency of detection signatures/rules and associated monitoring technologies. Interface with fellow team members, colleagues on the security team, business partners, management, vendors, and external parties on best practices. Support incident response activities, assisting with the artifact collection, triage and remediation processes while documenting lessons learned. Benchmark and implement industry best practices to mitigate potential threats to Synchrony's digital infrastructure and operations such as MITRE ATT&CK and NIST CSF. Collaborate with management in developing technical directions, setting objectives, and setting realistic and challenging goals Required Skills/Knowledge Prior cyber incident response experience and/or experience working in high tempo cyber operations environments. People Leadership: The Leader must have a demonstrated history of leading cybersecurity professionals and be able to administer to one or more Leadership Philosophies to drive the continual development and maturity of the cybersecurity JSOC India team.
