You will be joining our team as an experienced Packaging Designer. Your role will involve designing packaging for festive products with a focus on innovation, functionality, aesthetics, and trendiness. You should have a strong background in this area and be tech-savvy with good knowledge of offset printing. This is a full-time on-site position based in Kolkata. As the Packaging Designer, your primary responsibilities will include creating and designing packaging for Shree Rakhi products. Additionally, you will be in charge of branding and graphic designing for the company's social media platforms. We are looking to expand into the festive gifting market by offering a diverse range of gifting options to cater to the increasing demand for festive gifts in India. Our affiliated company, SVF Entertainment, is the largest media and entertainment company in Eastern India, specializing in film production, distribution, and exhibition. Key Responsibilities: - Develop innovative, functional, and visually appealing packaging design concepts that meet production and cost targets. - Create detailed specifications for packaging materials, structures, and graphics, collaborating with vendors to ensure compliance with design standards and quality requirements. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align packaging solutions with business objectives. - Manage the print planning process to ensure designs reach the pre-press/printable stage. - Liaise with printers to meet offset printing requirements and maintain desired quality standards. - Stay informed about industry trends through market research and enhance design processes and workflows continuously. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Packaging Technology, or a related field. - Minimum 3-5 years of experience in packaging design, particularly with festive/consumer products like greeting cards or wedding invitation cards. - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and 3D modeling software. - Thorough understanding of offset printing and the ability to collaborate effectively with printers to uphold quality standards. - Skills in branding, graphic design, and typography. - Strong creativity with the ability to think innovatively. - Excellent project management skills. - Capability to work independently and within a team environment, effectively communicating with cross-functional teams and vendors. - A robust portfolio showcasing expertise in packaging design, innovation, functionality, aesthetics, and detailed designs with a high level of craftsmanship.,
