We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tableau Developer to be a part of our expanding data visualization team. You should possess a deep expertise in Tableau Desktop and Server, along with a solid analytical mindset to develop engaging and insightful dashboards and visualizations that effectively present statistical data. Your role will be pivotal in converting intricate data into actionable insights for business stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining interactive Tableau dashboards and visualizations, integrating appropriate statistical displays. You will be required to connect to various data sources like databases, spreadsheets, and cloud platforms, perform data modeling and transformation within Tableau, and create complex calculations and fields for dynamic statistical analysis. Additionally, collaborating with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translating them into effective visualizations will be essential. You should be well-versed in selecting and implementing suitable statistical methods and visualizations within Tableau, providing training and support to end-users, and keeping abreast of the latest Tableau features and best practices. Contributing to the development of data visualization standards and guidelines, optimizing Tableau dashboards, troubleshooting Tableau-related issues, and mentoring junior developers will also be part of your role. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field. - 5+ years of experience in developing Tableau dashboards with a focus on statistical data representation. - Advanced proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Server, statistical functions, and chart types. - Strong understanding of statistical concepts, data warehousing, and relational databases. - Experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and excellent analytical skills. - Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. - Experience with other data visualization tools like Power BI, Qlik Sense is a plus. - Tableau certification is preferred.
