Job Description

Position: Performance Trainer (Strength + Mobility + Physio Support)

Location: Chennai / Dubai / On-Set (Travel as required)
Reporting To: Principal & Nutritionist
Employment Type: Full-Time | Travelling Role

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Fitness Trainer who can manage strength training, flexibility, mobility, and basic physio-style support for a high-demand performance schedule. The role requires a calm, adaptive professional capable of maintaining physical readiness, preventing injuries, and supporting recovery during shoots, travel, and irregular routines.

This role prioritizes safety, longevity, mobility, and functional strength over aggressive or bodybuilding-style training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and supervise safe, controlled, and progressive strength training programs

  • Conduct daily mobility, flexibility, and stretching routines

  • Provide basic physio-style support for muscle tightness, stiffness, and minor catches

  • Support on-set warm-ups and cool-downs during shoots, dance, and action sequences

  • Focus on injury prevention and recovery, especially during high workload or low-rest days

  • Manage light conditioning without overloading or overtraining

  • Ensure posture correction and full-body functional movement

  • Adapt training sessions around actor schedules and shoot demands

  • Coordinate closely with the nutritionist and chef, particularly for vegetarian muscle-building plans

  • Adjust programs dynamically based on travel, sleep, and workload fluctuations

Trainer Profile & Requirements

  • Calm, composed, patient, and emotionally stable personality

  • Prior experience working with actors, performers, or athletes (preferred)

  • Strong expertise in mobility training, stretching, and flexibility enhancement

  • Working knowledge of basic physiotherapy / sports rehabilitation techniques

  • Understanding of muscle building and recovery on a vegetarian diet

  • Professional, discreet, and excellent communicator

  • Willingness to travel and work with unpredictable schedules

  • Aggressive or bodybuilding-style trainers

  • High-intensity, ego-driven training approaches

  • Trainers limited to traditional gym-only routines

  • Lack of understanding in mobility, recovery, or injury prevention
