Job brief We are looking for a Travel Consultant to join our team at TravelBit Holidays Pvt. Ltd. The role requires identifying new business opportunities, building long lasting client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate for this role must have a passion for sales, and proven record of closing deals. Responsibilities 1. Organize travels from beginning to end, through booking tickets and accommodation, securing rental transportation etc. 2. Cooperate with clients to determine their needs and advise them appropriate destination, modes of transportations, travel dates, costs and accommodations. 3. Book transportation, make hotel reservations and collect payment/fees 4. Enter data into our software and maintain client files 5. Plan itineraries that meet clients’ budgets and requests 6. Answer emails and calls from clients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have about their travel plans 7. Resolve any customer issues or complaints professionally. Requirements 1. Proven work experience as a Travel Consultant 2. Ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively 3. Good knowledge of domestic and international travel trends 4. Degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business or relevant field Skills 1. Strong communication and sales skills 2. Familiarity with the latest travel trends, including popular vacation locations and activities 3. Strong organizational and planning skills 4. Excellent time management skills 5. The ideal candidate for this role must have a passion for sales, and proven record of closing deals. Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Handle customer inquiries and provide end-to-end travel solutions. 2. Create and customize travel itineraries for both Domestic and International Destinations. 3. Suggest suitable hotels, sightseeing options, flights, and travel arrangements based on client preferences. 4. Provide expert advice on popular destinations such as Goa, Kerala, Himachal, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, etc (Domestic) and Dubai, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Maldives, Bali, etc (International). 5. Manage bookings for flights, hotels, transfers, and holiday packages. 6. Handle customer queries before, during, and after travel to ensure a smooth experience. 7. Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and customer details. 8. Build strong relationships with clients to increase repeat business. Requirements: 1. Minimum 2 years of experience in handling domestic and international travel packages. 2. Strong knowledge of various travel destinations, hotels, and attractions. 3. Experience with GDS (Amadeus/Galileo/Sabre) is an added advantage. 4. Excellent communication and customer service skills. 5. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple bookings efficiently. 6. Good negotiation and vendor management skills. 7. Experience planning and selling packages for major Domestic Destinations. 8. Experience selling international destinations such as Dubai, Thailand, Singapore, Bali, Maldives, and Vietnam. Skills 1.
