outJob description: HR operations with travel reimbursement and MIS Job Title: HR Operations Executive/Specialist with MIS Department: Human Resources Location: Hyderabad Reports to: HR Operations Manager Job summary The HR Operations Executive with MIS is responsible for managing the day-to-day HR administration with a specialized focus on the company's travel and expense (T&E) reimbursement process. This role ensures all T&E claims are processed according to company policy, generates accurate HR data and reports (MIS), and identifies trends to improve operational efficiency. Key responsibilities : Travel and Expense (T&E) management Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding travel and expense policies and reimbursement claims. Review and verify all T&E claims and supporting documentation, such as receipts and invoices, to ensure compliance with company policy and tax regulations. Process expense reports in a timely and accurate manner, coordinating with the Finance/Payroll department for payment. Monitor employee compliance with the T&E policy and flag any inconsistencies or fraudulent claims. Assist in creating and updating T&E policy guidelines and communicating changes to all employees. Conduct regular audits of expense reports and supporting documentation. MIS and reporting Prepare and generate routine and ad-hoc HR-related reports and dashboards for management. Collect, clean, and analyze HR data, including T&E, headcount, compensation, leave, and attrition, using tools like Excel. Generate monthly and quarterly MIS reports on T&E spend, highlighting trends, high-spending departments, and policy compliance. Provide actionable insights to HR and business leaders based on data analysis to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Maintain the integrity and accuracy of employee data in the HRIS/HRMS, including updates related to employee travel. General HR operations Assist with other HR operations tasks, such as payroll inputs, onboarding/offboarding documentation, and data entry. Maintain and update employee records and personnel files. Support the HR team in various projects and initiatives to enhance the employee experience. QualificationsEducation and experience Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in HR operations, with a strong background in expense management and reporting. Experience with HRIS software (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle) is preferred. Skills and competencies Analytical skills: Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and strong data analysis capabilities. Attention to detail: Meticulous approach to data entry, expense verification, and compliance. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with employees and management effectively. Compliance knowledge: Solid understanding of employment laws, labor regulations, and tax implications for expense reimbursement. Time management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ethical judgment: Capability to handle confidential employee information with discretion.
