Senior Executive - SAP IT Location: Umarsadi, Vapi, Gujarat Role: We are seeking an experienced and skilled SAP MM/PP (Materials Management/Production Planning) Module Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting and managing various SAP processes, enhancements, and user support for the MM/PP module. This role involves a combination of technical, functional, and business process knowledge to ensure smooth operation and continuous improvement of the SAP system. Participate actively in SAP enhancement and development projects, ensuring requirements are understood and effectively implemented. Work closely with stakeholders to define business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions. Assist in the planning, testing, and deployment of SAP enhancements. Lead small-scale SAP change management initiatives. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of changes with minimal business disruption. Manage change requests, ensuring proper documentation and communication. Provide user support for SAP MM and PP modules, including troubleshooting, training, and resolving issues. Assist end-users in understanding and optimizing SAP functionality related to materials management and production planning processes. Ensure that regular data backups are executed for the SAP MM/PP module. Administer and maintain SAP data integrity and system performance. Manage and monitor SAP jobs related to MM/PP processes, ensuring timely execution and resolution of issues. Analyse system performance and implement corrective actions as required. Oversee and manage SAP transport processes, ensuring that all necessary objects are moved across systems (development, quality, production) accurately and without error. Coordinate with developers and project teams to ensure smooth transport of changes. Manage SAP user accounts, ensuring that all user requests are handled efficiently. Support the creation, modification, and deletion of user profiles in accordance with organizational policies. Administer and manage SAP user roles and authorizations to ensure secure access to the MM/PP module. Ensure compliance with internal security standards and segregation of duties. Gain a deep understanding of business processes related to materials management and production planning. Provide guidance and support to ensure SAP processes align with and enhance business operations. Education Qualification: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Certification: SAP certification in MM/PP modules(preferred). Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience with SAP MM/PP, SAP administration, and change management. Competencies: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong understanding of SAP MM/PP modules, including key transactions, master data management, and configuration. In-depth knowledge of SAP system administration, data backups, and job scheduling. Experience managing changes and understanding the impact of changes on business operations. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to identify issues early and apply analytical thinking to resolve challenges. Skills: Proficiency in local languages and English, both written and spoken, to facilitate effective communication with employees and stakeholders. Basic ABAP knowledge, debugging skills, Sapscript and Smarforms, Infostructures (S904), Charm, Transports and Batch jobs. General knowledge of batch management of inventory. General understanding of SD/MM/GTS/APO. Relevant functional and/or technical hands-on experience in designing, building, and integrating SAP processes (MM/WM/LE and cross-functional). Strong knowledge of business processes and best practices in any areas of SAP Logistics Good knowledge of SAP integrational aspects. Good problem solving and communication skills.
