Position - AM /DY. MANAGER LOGISTICS Operations Experience - 8 to 10yrs Education - PG qualification (preferred) in operations/logistics. Location - Attibele Industrial area, Bangalore. Preferred candidates from the Bangalore location. Role definition Responsible for all EXIM and DOMESTIC dispatch PLANNING, in terms of origin operations, execution, statutory compliances, and factory dispatch. Closely work with teams on all matters on the shipment plan execution with carriers, transporter/CHA, and port. Key Result Areas Shipping, Transport Process and Execution Excellence (weightage 40%) Objective To ensure freight forwarder and liner relations for consistent service levels on project shipping, visibility, documentation. Consistent document management and release. Engage with internal and industry stakeholders on a higher performance level Factory, Transporter, Customs, Concor, Port authority. Document management success BL, invoice, LC compliance, Banking team Align with the service level TAT ownership with internal key stakeholders. Review existing processes monthly and deploy learnings from past/ongoing projects. Method implementation for 3rd country movement with TAT set with LSPs. Review and evaluation of KPIs with logistics vendors and monitor monthly performance. Internal stakeholder management , PE, Procurement (BO/ RM), CS Commercial & Freight Forwarder relation (weightage 20%) Objective – Close coordination for timely execution Preparation and issue of Request for Proposals along with PE Logistics desk Maintain upcoming tender performance, tender budget analysis, comparative and reduction target of 10-15% Administer Freight Forwarders contracts and payments. Maintain relation in DGFT & Customs. Forwarder’s payments: Collaborate with operations colleague to ensure correct information flow. Transporter Operations (weightage – 35%) Objective – To ensure a sustainable dispatch for domestic transport movement and periodic review of activities Export Compliance , Analytics and Data management (weightage – 5%) Objective – To ensure country specific compliance and analytics Work closely with HOD for the numerous inspection and compliance requirements and implement them with necessary support. Maintain the country/ region specific repository and updates from time to time . Original Invoices send to accounts section for MIRO entries in SAP. Vendor bills reconciliation as per SAP balances.
