Key Responsibilities: - Establish and maintain strong relationships with various NVOCCs and Shipping lines. - Formulate and execute pricing strategies to maximize profitability and market share. - Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and industry data to drive informed pricing decisions. - Negotiate rates with carriers and service providers to secure competitive pricing. - Develop and present pricing proposals and quotations to clients and internal stakeholders. - Monitor and assess the effectiveness of pricing strategies, making adjustments as necessary. - Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment on pricing strategies and objectives. - Maintain and update pricing databases and tools to ensure accuracy and timeliness of information. - Provide training and guidance to sales teams on pricing policies and procedures. - Conduct regular pricing reviews and audits to ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations. - Identify opportunities for cost savings and process efficiencies in the pricing mechanism. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree/MBA in any field. - Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in pricing within the freight forwarding/logistics/supply chain industry. - Strong negotiation and communication skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. - Knowledge of shipping lines/NVOCC for rate negotiations.
