Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Transport Coordinator to oversee and manage daily transportation and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in route planning, fleet coordination, and vendor management to ensure timely, safe, and cost-efficient movement of goods while adhering to regulatory and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage daily transportation schedules, routes, and vehicle deployment.
• Track and monitor vehicle movements to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
• Coordinate with drivers, transport vendors, and internal departments for smooth logistics operations.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel usage, vehicle maintenance, and transportation expenses.
• Ensure compliance with transportation laws, safety norms, and internal policies.
• Address and resolve transport-related issues such as delays, breakdowns, and driver concerns.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement in logistics operations.
• Prepare and submit regular transport performance and MIS reports to management.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in transport or logistics coordination.
• Strong understanding of route planning, fleet management, and transportation regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; familiarity with logistics or transport management systems is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
