You will work as a part of the global Network Security team, collaborating closely with the WAF team. Your main responsibility will involve guiding global tech functions to migrate a suite of 5000 hosted apps to WAF. This migration will be conducted in phases, starting with 100 out of the 5000 domain names. Upon completion of the migration work, you will review logs, implement tuning, web blocking, and other necessary tasks. Your role will also include mapping IP addresses/FQDNs to services and applications, as well as working closely with service owners and associated teams to gather relevant application data for WAF migration purposes. Additionally, you will analyze web behavior and performance to establish acceptable application thresholds, perform policy tuning based on performance baseline, and transition WAF from transparent to enforcement mode. Data cleansing and validation will also be part of your responsibilities. The ideal candidate for this position should have expertise in web network security and WAF, with a hands-on approach. Experience with platforms like Akamai or similar ones such as Radware or Kona Site Defender is preferred. You should be a consultative person with SME status in web network security, particularly in onboarding web services into WAF platforms in monitoring/transparent mode. Finding vulnerabilities in WAF logs and implementing best web security practices are also essential skills for this role.,
