Role Description We are seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to lead the design and implementation of robust automated testing frameworks for a cloud-native, multi-tenant microservices environment. This is a full-time ,on-site role for a Senior Test Automation Engineer at Transond Systems, located in Coimbatore. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks for microservices, APIs, web, and mobile applications. Develop unit, integration, contract, regression, and end-to-end tests for multi-tenant cloud platforms. Ensure tenant isolation in test environments and validate multi-tenant data security . Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD) for continuous validation. Conduct performance, load, and chaos testing to ensure platform resilience and scalability. Collaborate with backend, frontend, data, and DevOps teams to maintain quality standards. Mentor QA engineers on automation best practices, microservices testing, and cloud-native QA strategies . Required Skills & Experience 5–8 years of experience in test automation for complex software platforms. Strong programming/scripting skills: Python, Java, or JavaScript . Expertise in automated testing frameworks : Selenium, Cypress, Appium, RestAssured, or equivalent. Experience with CI/CD integration and version control systems ( Git ). Hands-on experience with microservices, REST/gRPC APIs, and cloud-native architectures . Strong knowledge of multi-tenant platforms, data isolation, and security compliance . Experience in performance, load, and chaos testing is highly desirable. Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and test environment orchestration . Nice to Have Experience with contract testing (Pact, Spring Cloud Contract). Familiarity with observability and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack). Exposure to IoT telemetry data and event-driven architectures . Knowledge of security testing for SaaS and multi-tenant platforms .
