As a GIS Manager at Aceolution, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that Maps Data is current and accurately reflects real-world changes. Your primary responsibilities will involve addressing user-submitted issues, testing location results from user queries, and improving the maintenance of city/country transit data. You will collaborate with City Experts and stakeholder teams to achieve project objectives and provide valuable insights to enhance the user experience. Your key responsibilities will include communicating effectively with various teams, identifying transit user expectations and data gaps, validating data quality, making necessary edits to transit data, and managing city-specific data pipelines. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing outages and alerts capabilities, updating pipelines using basic programming skills, and ensuring the accuracy of transit/traffic network mapping. To excel in this role, you should have at least 6 months of experience, a graduate degree or equivalent experience, and strong communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus). Experience with Transit projects, particularly GTFS knowledge, is preferred. Proficiency in GIS mapping tools, knowledge of traffic laws, landmarks, political modeling, and key mapping features of the city/country are essential. You should be comfortable working in a dynamic environment, possess strong problem-solving skills, and have excellent attention to detail.
