As a Senior Power System Engineer, you will be responsible for utilizing your Power system and Protection application knowledge gained through your Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in Electrical/Power System engineering overview and protection knowledge. Your role will involve working in Engineering Consulting companies/EPC or other reputed companies in the Energy Automation or Power system field. Your skills and experience will include working on Power system studies and Protection application knowledge in Substation HV, MV & LV systems. You will lead technical tasks such as Power Systems studies including Load flow, Short circuit, Transient study, Motor acceleration and reacceleration studies, Harmonic analysis, Islanding studies, ARC flash Analysis, and more. Additionally, you will prepare protection Relay setting calculations and OC & EF Coordination, ensuring knowledge of various protection applications including differential, distance, generator & motor. You should be able to perform equipment & cable sizing, Insulation coordination study, Transformer sizing, NGR & NGT sizing, CT sizing, Capacitor sizing, Breaker sizing, UPS, Battery, and Battery Charger sizing, among others. Familiarity with IEC & ANSI standards, ETAP, PSCAD, and other tools is required. Your role will also involve providing technical support to the tendering team during bids, preparing detailed study reports, and collaborating with internal or end customers for technical coordination. Main responsibilities include supporting tendering during offer preparation, technical responsibility for complete project delivery, ensuring the quality of deliverables, documentation, and studies, writing technical specifications and design notes, participating in design review meetings with customers, contributing to technical innovation and productivity, and more. To be eligible for this role, you should hold a B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical/Power System engineering with a minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in the relevant field.
