You should have a strong foundation in engineering knowledge related to Power plants, Refineries, Offshore, Chemical, Metal & Mining industry, switchyard, etc. Your expertise should include HV/MV/LV single line diagrams, lighting calculation & design, earthing calculation & design, lightning protection system calculation & design, cable trays, cable sizing, load calculations, and knowledge on low voltage systems like CCTV, Public address, Telecom, etc. Additionally, you should be familiar with Hazardous area classification, short circuit calculations, load flow studies, relay co-ordinations, relay settings, CT sizing, harmonic analysis, transient analysis, and arc flash study. Being able to work on challenging schedules, following Quality Assurance systems, procedures, design guidelines, and standards is crucial. You must demonstrate a high level of commitment, willingness to perform, and be capable of mentoring/training design engineers. Proficiency in software skills such as MS Office, AutoCAD, Dialux EVO, ETAP, PDMS, and E3D is required. A Bachelor's degree is a minimum educational requirement with at least 5 years of experience in Electrical designing. This is a full-time position located in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. As a Lead Manager Mechanical specializing in Water, Effluent & Sewage treatment plants, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of Mechanical Engineers. Your primary role will involve leading the design development of Mechanical components in projects related to Water, Effluent & Sewage treatment. You will play a crucial part in planning engineering deliverables, resource allocation, and collaborating with other disciplines to ensure proper integration of mechanical systems. Additionally, you will be tasked with reviewing and validating design deliverables, as well as driving continuous improvement in team productivity and skill development. A key requirement for this role is hands-on experience in Water, Effluent & Sewage treatment plants, Transmission & distribution pipeline projects in the Middle East and Africa region. Your core responsibility will involve leading a team of mechanical engineers in liaising with consultants and clients for the approval of engineering deliverables and material submittals. You should also have experience in engaging with international vendors for evaluating and selecting various mechanical equipment. To qualify for this position, you must hold a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 12-15 years of experience in Mechanical engineering, including at least 3-5 years in a leadership role. Advanced knowledge of Mechanical engineering principles, international codes such as ASME, BS EN, ISO, QCS, NWC, and proficiency in Plant engineering for tasks like preparing plant layouts, GA drawings, Piping layout, and Pipeline drawings are essential. Moreover, expertise in hydraulics & transient analysis using software like WaterGEMS, WaterHammer, SAP, and experience in reviewing related reports and stress analysis reports (CAESAR II) will be beneficial. Participation in workshops like HAZOP with clients and consultants, proficiency in Vendor engineering by reviewing offers, conducting technical comparisons, and recommending mechanical equipment to the Procurement team are also required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to mentor and develop team members, an innovative mindset for design optimization and continuous improvement are additional qualities that we are looking for in the ideal candidate. Preferred industry experience in Water & Effluent treatment, Oil & Gas industries is desirable for this role.,
