Your background should include a Master's degree in mechanical engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing-focused R&D, preferably in the transformer or heavy equipment industry. Proficiency in 3D modeling and drafting tools such as Creo, along with in-depth knowledge of transformer technology, materials, and mechanical design are essential. Familiarity with fabrication, welding, machining, and assembly processes relevant to transformer production is required, with a focus on cost, quality, and performance. Experience with mechanical engineering standards, prototyping, and mechanical testing is necessary, as well as a willingness to travel to manufacturing sites and work in diverse environments. Proficiency in spoken and written English is a must for effective communication.
