As a Project Engineering Manager in the construction industry with over 14 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in the design and detailed engineering of Solar Power plants, ranging from Mini Grid to Megawatt scales. Your primary objective will be to manage the complete design process for projects, including coordination with disciplines such as Electrical, Instrumentation, and Mechanical. Leading a team of Lead Engineers, Design Engineers, and draftsmen, you will oversee and ensure that engineering activities are conducted within budget, delivered on time, and maintain a high quality of engineering standards. Your responsibilities will include managing the engineering activities for civil & structural aspects, covering various components such as substation/control room buildings, transformer foundations, outdoor equipment foundations, guard houses, staff quarters, grading, roads and drainage, outdoor steel structures, and other miscellaneous works related to Solar Power Plants and cabling works. In addition to your managerial duties, you will be expected to review vendor engineering documents related to Civil & Structural design, stay updated on new technologies, and adapt them to the business for cost-effective solutions. Proficiency in software tools such as Staad Pro, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Infraworks, Revit, Navisworks, and Global Mapper will be essential for carrying out your responsibilities effectively.,
