Your role involves capturing and translating customer requirements into improvements for existing solutions and setting directions for new product developments in the dynamic electrical grid industry. **Key Responsibilities:** - Analyze market situation by understanding international standards, market & customer requirements, and their impact on the portfolio. - Conduct competitor analyses to identify technical product gaps and competitiveness opportunities. - Manage technical specifications of Industrial and Specialty Power Transformers, supporting product development and competitiveness. - Collect and share market technical data to aid in new product development and validate product performance. - Prepare and deliver technical communication materials to support product launches and enhance market positioning. - Keep various teams informed on Industrial and Specialty transformer topics including market trends, quality, and configurations. - Provide support for data quality improvement, sales activities, customer meetings, and industry events to identify customer needs and values. - Ensure training material for Industrial and Specialty transformers, with a focus on Offshore Substation and Subsea Transformers, is available for internal and external use. **Qualifications Required:** - MSc or BSc Engineering degree. - Minimum 5 years of experience in transformer engineering and/or research & development. - Technical knowledge of transformer portfolio, experience with offshore wind or O&G substation transformers is a plus. - Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences. - Ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Fluent in English, with experience in writing technical papers and reports.
