Role & responsibilities Be familiar with and apply industry standards governing the design and manufacture of various types of transformers. Run quotation designs for sales departments that will then be reviewed by an Engineering Manager/Supervisor before going to sales. Ensure Transformer reliability for Various Dielectric Tests, Thermal behavior, and short circuit behavior of Transformer by using appropriate Tools for Large power Transformers and Autotransformers using industry standards that govern the design and test of transformers. Take charge of electrical advance material ordering (AO), design and packaging. Use CAD system or other appropriate computer programs for producing design drawings. Apply industry standards governing the design and manufacture of various types of Power transformers. Produce accurate detailed design drawings of oil type power designs. Generate Bills of Material (BOM) for all material of core and coil assembly. Exercise judgment in selecting design parameters.
